Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

Wine & Cheese by TCC Rolls Out Tasty New Menu Items

On June 3rd, Wine & Cheese by TCC rolled out their new Summer Cafe Menu including these delicious gems:

  • Stuffed Prosciutto Cups filled with Belzeblu Cheese and organic dried figs, then drizzled with Honey.
  • Pickled Cherry Burrata - Pickled Italian cherries, fresh mozzarella stuffed with curd and cream, Lomo (cured pork loin), fresh basil, wild berry cream of balsamic & smoked sea salt
  • Reuben Flatbread - Crispy flatbread, housemade thousand island dressing, Riesling stone ground mustard, pickled red cabbage, corned beef & Fontina Fontal
  • Roasted Garlic Bacon Dip - Made with Nueske's applewood smoked bacon and roasted garlic topped with fresh chives and served with crispy pita chips
  • Stuffed Chicken Breasts - Roasted chicken breast stuffed with maple smoked cheddar and Speck Alto Adige (smoked prosciutto) served on a bed of arugula and drizzled with a housemade orange tarragon vinaigrette
