Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

Raging Waves Waterpark Reopens for Summer 2020

If you’re looking for a true summer experience, get ready to enjoy a big splash at Raging Waves Waterpark in Yorkville, IL. 

They are re-opening to the public this Saturday, July, 11th 2020 and for all season passholders, July 10th, 2020. 

To ensure the safety of visitors and workers, they have created guidelines in order to practice social distancing. 

Here’s ten things you should know before your visit: 

  • All guests must make reservations prior to visit in order to attend the park. Make your reservations today at www.ragingwaves.com/reservation.
  • All guests and team members will pass a temperature check upon arrival 
  • Only clear bags are allowed in the park. 
  • Arrive swim ready. The locker room use and capacity will be limited. 
  • Standard parking is $10 per vehicle (save $5 if purchased online) 
  • Filled personal water bottles are allowed. The water fountains and refills will not be available inside the park. Souvenir cups will not be sold for 2020 season. 
  • Re-entry is between 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM only. 
  • Pool capacity and queuing lines for Great Barrier Reef Wave Pool, Quokka Nut-Island and Koala Kove. 
  • Certain attractions will be closed during this time such as Kookaburra Kreek Lazy River, Kangaroo Falls, The Three Sisters, Aussie Mat Dash. 
  • Download the Raging Waves app and mobile order at Shark Bites Café to your table to skip the line.
