Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

Joliet Area Restaurants Week is right around the corner happening February 1-13, 2020 and here are a list of some of your favorite local restaurants that are participating this year: 

 

99 Hops House: With over 70 beer selections, specialty cocktails, fresh salads, fantastic appetizers and the best pub grub around, 99 Hops House is the perfect place for you and your friends to watch your favorite sporting events on our 80-foot screen or one of the many HD TVs in the restaurant.

Ashbury’s at Boughton Ridge: An American restaurant and banquet hall that is the perfect place where family and friends can gather! 

Catrinas Mex: enjoy authentic delicious food while you enjoy watching football with friends. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks a coffee 

Cherry Hill Café: A family friendly restaurant located downtown Joliet, providing great food and customer satisfaction. 

Chevere Latin Café: Offering a myriad of delicious dishes, all hailing from Venezuela. 

Corner Stone Tavern: Offering a wide range of flavors with every dish right in the heart of Lemont, Illinois.

The County Seat Pub & Pizzeria: Hand creating each pizza using the freshest ingredients made when you order. 

Doc Watson’s Smokehouse: Specializing in great American BBQ, Texas style using a low and slow method which makes their food delicacy. 

Embers Tap House: With over 40 beers on tap and a full menu with so many enjoyable flavors, they have been a staple to the Lockport community. 

Final Cut Steakhouse: Experience a classic Hollywood from the 1930s and ‘40s ambiance, while enjoying contemporary culinary dining. With USDA prime beef and delicious seafood creations, plus rich pastas and fresh salads. 

Flavors: The Buffet: Serving you a variety of cuisines including BBQ, house-made pizza and build your own stir-fry. Along with 40 feet of scrumptious desserts featuring a wheel of cupcakes.
