Join us for a family-friendly event that highlights Illinois’ farming and agricultural history.
This one-day tour will take you to various properties in the Seneca, Utica, La Salle, and Ottawa areas and will include such sites as an alpaca farm, a centennial barn, a working grain elevator, and historical museums. Along the route you will tour farm sites and learn about agricultural history, architectural elements of each of the properties, and what it means to be a farmer in the 21st century. Participants can also view historical farm implements and tools, see educational demonstrations, and browse ag-related products for sale.
