In celebration of the National Park Service centennial anniversary, quilters from across the county rallied a national effort to demonstrate their love of nature and the National Parks Service. These are not your Grandmother's quilts. These are truly unique works of art often incorporating materials and objects reflective of the representative park. The highly impressive collection depicting the flora, fauna, and landscapes of each of the 59 National Parks has toured across the U.S. The entire collection of 177 quilts will be on view at four Forest Preserve sites for a two week period for all to awe, appreciate and be inspired.
