2017 Veterans Day Parade & Observance

It's impossible to thank our Veterans enough for the bravery, selflessness, and sacrifices made each day for our country. The 2017 Veterans Day Parade & Observance, in Morris, is a great way to show appreciation to our Veterans. As has become an honored tradition in Morris, this event is a special way to recognize our neighbors, friends and family that are proud to call themselves Veterans of the United States of America.

The Annual Veterans Day parade and Observance will be hosted by The Morris American Legion on Saturday November 11, 2017. The parade will start from Chapin Park at 10:30am and will conclude at the Grundy County Courthouse, where the observance will take place at 11am. The public is welcome to participate in the parade, no registration required, just be at the park by 10:00 AM. In the event of inclement weather the observance will be held at the Morris High School.

Veterans Day is a very special day, and Veterans should hold a special place in our hearts and minds. They put everything on the line to protect our way of life, their families, and your family. From WWI, WWII, Korea, and the Arabian Gulf to Afghanistan and Iraq; these brave souls experienced much of the unfathomable for our freedon. This Veterans Day Parade & Observance is the perfect way to show our Veterans just how much we appreciate them.
