Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

7th Annual Artisan Market

Take in the beautiful country setting of Princeton at the 7th Annual Artisan Market on Saturday, September 7th from 10am – 4pm, located at Hornbaker Gardens. Come out and enjoy a fun day filled with 35 fine artists, live music, wine tasting, craft beer, delicious bakery, fresh-picked produce, local lunch fare, ice cream and more. Mark your calendars now for this free event, and plan to spend a beautiful, fall day in the country.

Live music for the event includes Ian Franciskovich with finger style originals, Dulcimer Dreams playing folk and Celtic music, Al & Jeannie Brown playing jazz standards and more on piano and stand-up bass, Jeff Manfredini performing acoustic blues and folk style guitar with harmonica, Daniel Watkins performing folk and bluegrass music, and Kat Blomquist performing 80's and 90's rock, along with some current selections. 

There will be plenty of tasty food and drink options, such as Kramer's Chuckwagon serving up grilled pork chops and burgers, Grandma Rosie's Woodfire on Wheels, Cows Coffee on Wheels, Sisler's Ice Cream, Hungry World Farm, and Braker's Dozen Bakers. Hornbaker's Wine and Beer Tent will be serving local favorites August Hill Wine and Tangled Roots craft beer.
