Where is the Heritage Corridor?
The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) encompasses the communities and counties along the historic 97-mile Illinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. The Heritage Corridor spans from the Chicago Portage Area just southwest of Chicago to LaSalle-Peru including the counties of Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Putnam. The region conveniently located along I-55 from Chicago to Joliet along I-80 west to LaSalle-Peru.

Fiesta En La Calle

FIESTA EN LA CALLE  is an annual Street Festival presented by Alianza de Negocios (a division of the Joliet Chamber of Commerce & Industry). The festival supports the Spanish Community Center and Alianza de Negocios.

On Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 the Joliet Chamber of Commerce & Alianza will host a fiesta in the streets. The party will kick off at 4 PM and go until 11 PM on Chicago Street. The event will include live bands, authentic Mexican food, palomas, and a kid’s zone play area. Special thanks to D’Arcy Buick-GMC as our Grand Presenting Sponsor.
