A 3.2 mile trail winds through wooded areas and prairie is Will County’s only equestrian
preserve. The trail can also be used for hiking and cross-country skiing.

The largest publicly-owned open space in Northeastern Illinois. Stop and visit the new Welcome
Center to learn about the large-scale prairie restoration project. Three miles of primitive
hiking trails are available just north of the welcome center. A schedule of public tours is

Welcome Center hours: 8 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. M-F and most Saturdays in the summer. |
