Light up the Holidays Parade: Downtown Joliet; Joliet hosts the 11th year of kicking off the holiday season with a day chock full of activities in Joliet's City Center. Christmas in the Square: Central Square

1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate the holidays at the 5th annual Christmas in the Square event. Come visit Santa and his reindeer, live from the North Pole. Santa will have a special gift for each child. Be sure to stop by the Gladys Fox Museum to vote on the best-decorated Christmas tree. The tree lighting ceremony will be at 4:30pm on the front lawn of Central Square.
