READ ON!Making plans to celebrate Independence Day? Experience family fun and activities at Streator’s 4th of July Celebration, now in its 35th year! This 5-day festival includes fireworks, a parade, a carnival, national music acts, food and beer garden, Run for Glory 5k, Emergency Vehicle Show, and immeasurably more excitement for all ages.
Here is a breakdown of what to expect:
Live Music:
General admission is free on each night of the concerts. There will be VIP Passes for each night that will get you into the section closest to the stage, as well as collectible lanyard, private bars and restrooms. Purchase tickets here.
Fireworks: Illinois' largest firework displays outside of Chicago, presented by Starved Rock Media. This show will be taking place at Northpoint Field (11 Northpoint Dr, Streator, IL) on July 11 at 9:30PM
Parade: The parade will take place on July 11, 2021 at 12PM on Main Street. Route: Illinois St, down Main St to Park, ends at Kent St.
Miss Sparkler and Mr. Firecracker: The crowning is held on July 3rd, at 5:45PM at Streator High School Athletic Field (410 W Lincoln Ave, Streator, IL). Visit www.streators4th.org for voting details.
Carnival: Enjoy 4 days of fun at the carnival from July 8 – 11, 2021 at the Northpoint Plaza.
Liberty Dollars and 50/50 Raffle:
Run for Glory 5K Race: The race kicks off at the Streator City Park at 8AM and check in starts at 6:30AM. It will take place on July 4, sign up here.
