Lockport’s Military History Weekend

Come learn, play, and explore at Lockport’s Military History Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, September 11 – 12. Experience re-enactments of WWII, Civil War, and Vietnam War encampments and battles, uniforms, vehicles, and equipment of the period. You can event fly high and take a ride in a U-H-1H “Huey” or AH-1F “Cobra” helicopter!

Here is the breakdown of each day:

Saturday

• 9:30am – Parks Open
• 11am – WWII Battle
• 12pm – Sweet Reminder covering the Andrew Sisters, ’50s and ‘60s classics
• 1pm – Civil War Battle
• 3pm – WWII Battle
• 4pm – Fortunate Sons- Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute Band
• 6pm – Bridge Skirmish
• 6:30pm – Vietnam Battle (with pyro)
• 8pm – USO Show featuring Silver Bullet

Sunday

• 9:30am – Park Opens
• 11am – WWII Battle
• 12pm - Sweet Reminder covering the Andrew Sisters, ’50s and ‘60s classics
• 12pm- WWII Girls Baseball Living History Demo Meet the Rockford Peaches! (Baseball field)
• 1pm – Civil War Battle
• 2pm – Bridge Skirmish
• 3pm – WWII Battle
• 5pm – Camp Close
