Restore Illinois Mitigation Plan

 

On Friday, January 15, 2021 Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Public Health released a new update on the Illinois mitigations plan. 

 

Back on November 20, 2020, all 11 regions in Illinois were moved into Tier 3 mitigations leaving many of our restaurant/bar doors closed temporarily, unless they offered pickup or delivery. Empty hotels, small gatherings and many other restrictions. 

 

With some of the regions now beginning to make progress, Governor Pritzker has announced that regions meeting specific COVID related metrics will be able to move out of Tier 3 restrictive tier mitigations. 

 

Here is a list of the our six counties in our serviece area and the current guidelines they must follow:

 

Bureau County, Grundy County, Livingston County, LaSalle County, and Putnam County are all in Tier 1 Mitigations.    

Mitigations Requirements: 

 

Bars and Restaurants

 

Meetings, social events and gathering (including weddings, funerals, potlucks, etc)

 

Organized group recreational activities

 

 

Will County is in Tier 3 Mitigation

Mitigation Requirements: 

 

Bars and Restaurants

 

Cultural institutions

 

Gaming and casinos 

 

Hotels 

 

Household gatherings 

 

Indoor fitness classes 

 

Meetings, events and gathering (excluding in-person school or sports) 

 

Offices 

 

Organized group recreational activities (fitness centers, sports, etc.)
