A mid-1800’s architectural wonder helped make Chicago the city it is today. The 96-mile Illinois & Michigan Canal (I&M Canal) connected the Great Lakes in Bridgeport, Chicago to the Illinois River at LaSalle-Peru, and amazingly unique towns sprung up that maintain their authentic charm to this date.

The summer's schedule includes some retro rock, a lot of groove, a little swing, a little country and a whole lot of fun! Concerts run from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Admission is free. Embrace Ottawa's small-town charm: bring a lawn chair, spread a blanket on the grass, or settle on one of the park benches to listen. We'll bet you can't stop tapping your toes to the beat, clapping in time, or breaking into a spontaneous dance step under the trees. When bad weather threatens, it doesn't dampen our spirits; we just move indoors to the 807 Building, 807 La Salle Street (Jeremiah Joe Coffee).
The 2020 concert season opens a week earlier than usual, in late June. Follow the Special Events Committee on Facebook (Ottawa Special Events Group) or check the city website cityofottawa.org
