Cool, crisp fall mornings can be a great time to be out in the preserves and it is also a great time to go birding. A variety of birds are moving through the area on migration and stopping by the preserves to rest, fuel up and continue their journey south. Join us on this guided hike to find birds that stopover at Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve and those that are arriving to spend the winter here. All birders are welcome from beginner to expert. Bring along binoculars and a field guide, and be sure to dress for the weather. Fee: Free! Age: Ages 18 or older.
