Have you ever spotted a cotton rump, fish hawk, or a saw bill when birding? You probably have but didn't know the birds by those names! Join on us on a morning bird hike while we identify birds using their historic folk names. Whether you are just beginning or are an experienced birder, you won't want to miss this fun experience. The varied habitat at Isle a la Cache preserve makes it a great place for birdwatching. The hike will follow the shores of the Des Plaines River. Binoculars are recommended. Fee: Free! Age: Ages 15 or older.
