Teaching Artist Marisa Boyd was inspired by the book Women Artists A to Z by Melanie LaBarge. At the beginning of this class, Marisa will present a power point about the artist including where they are from, images of their artwork, and describing their art process. Join us for an art class inspired by artist Carmen Herrera! Carmen Herrera paints large blocks of color side by side onto the canvases so that in the space where the two colors meet, lines come to life! Each student will be able to create two paintings on canvas using acrylic paint and tape. Ages 6 to 12 years old are welcome.
