Drop by to learn about American Indian longhouses, one of several types of dwellings used by the Potawatomi. Our longhouse will be open for viewing. Learn about the daily lives of the Potawatomi and discover how longhouses are built and used by Native peoples. This is a drop-in program; come anytime between 1 and 3 p.m. Fee: Free! Age: All ages. No registration required. Visiting the longhouse requires walking less than 1 mile on paved and limestone trails across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with...) no later than 48 hours before the program.
