Have you ever spotted a cotton rump, fish hawk or sawbill when birding? You probably have but didn't know the birds by those names! Join us on a morning bird hike while we identify birds using their historic folk names. Whether you are just beginning or are an experienced birder, you won't want to miss this fun bird hike. The varied habitat at Isle a la Cache preserve makes it a great place for bird-watching. The hike will follow the shores of the Des Plaines River. Binoculars are recommended for this hike. Fee: Free!
