Enjoy a peaceful morning identifying your favorite spring wildflowers using sketching and a field guide. We will spend a short time learning the parts of a flower, how to sketch a flower that you want to identify and some basic instruction on how to use the Peterson First Guide to Wildflowers field guide. The rest of the time will be spent in the woods armed with simple tools that include a journal, a pencil and a field guide. You don't have to be an artist; you just need to have the desire! Bring your favorite wildflower field guide, a hand lens and a camp chair or mat for sitting on the ground. Fee: Free! Age: Ages 18 or older. Registration required by Wednesday, May 5, by calling 708.946.2216 or online: https://apm.activecommunities.com/.../draw-to-id.../7488 This program takes place outdoors on uneven natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with...) no later than 48 hours before the program.
