If you like fluffy critters, then come hike with us on the search for woodchucks! These furry creatures have been spotted all over the preserve! We'll take a hike and explore McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove while we look for signs of woodchucks. Maybe we'll even spot a few! As we explore, we'll learn fun facts about the woodchuck and why they call this preserve home. Registration required by Thursday, June 24, by calling 815.722.9470 or online: https://apm.activecommunities.com/.../wandering-for.../7582 The hike will be 1-2 miles on paved paths and natural surfaces across uneven terrain.
