Join the LaSalle County Historical Society for our 52nd Annual Burgoo Festival October 8-9, 2022. The quaint Village of North Utica will be bustling with over 400 vendors displaying their handmade, homemade, vintage, and other wares throughout town. Saturday at 11am kicks off this fun filled weekend with over 100 vendors in and near our museum campus. The Classic car show starts at 1pm and is located right in the heart of the downtown district. The LaSalle County Historical Society will start making the festivals namesake, Burgoo, starting on Saturday night along the historic I & M Canal. This slow cooked stew is a pioneer stew that consists of many types of veggies, pork, chicken and beef. Sunday starts at 9am when our Burgoo Stew is ready to sell and 400 plus vendors line the streets from one end of town to the other. This is a can not miss event that features live Blacksmithing demos, kids activities, crafts and vintage vendors, live music and entertainment and so much more!
