The Will County Historical Society's Heritage Village is a deep dive into the history of Will County's past.  The VIllage features a Visitor center, Calaboose (Mokena), Wells Corner One-Room Schoolhouse (Homer Glen), Greenho Farmhouse (Crest Hill), Wabash Railroad Dept (Symerton), and Smokehouse (Lockport) - preservations of buildings from surrounding towns that keep the history alive to this day.
