Paying Homage to LocalNik & Ivy's Dellwood IPA pays homage to a nearby attraction (Dellwood Park) that's been in Lockport since 1905. And, to honor Lockport, the beer uses local hops (thanks to their friend that lives in Lockport), giving the beer a blast od citrus and pine to hit that west coast vibe. |
|
A New Two from Tangled RootsLet's start off with Autumn Equinox, a perfect beer for this time of year. It's a Farmhouse IPA with a ton of locally grown hops (Cluster, Cascade, and Galena) and fermented with Saison Yeast from Omega Yeast Labs. The flavors: floral, grapefruit, and black currant notes, a spicy yeast profile, and a crisp finish from the locally grown pilsner malts. The second release of the day is Moscow Vibes. This is a Berliner Weiss kettle sour with ginger and lime. As you read the description, you probably realize that this brew emulates the classic Moscow Mule cocktail. |

Two from Black HorizonBlack Horizon is back from their recent taproom renovation with two new beers for us! Jester's Cap is an English Brown Ale. Roasty and dry with mild coffee elements and maple undertones. You'll love the smell of maple and vanilla. Candy Coated Rain Drops is a Lactose IPA. The suble creaminess of the lactose pairs perfectly with the bright citrus and fruit notes of the west coast hops. Orange and citrus notes, almost like fruity candy with a bit of cream. |
