Train to Headline Friday Night of the Taste of Joliet

The Joliet Park District just announced that the 5-time platinum band Train is coming to the Taste of Joliet on June 23rd, 2023!

The San Francisco pop rock band found mainstream success with their debut album Train in 1998. Their 2001 album "Drop of Jupiter" was certified double platinum and won two Grammys. Their third album also reached platinum status, with single "Calling All Angels" as the breakway hit. Train again found major success in 2009 with the album "Save Me, San Francisco" which produced the 6x platinum single, "Hey, Soul Sister" which reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Tickets are on sale now. Saturday's headliner is still to be announced, but will likely be a country act as in past years.

The Taste of Joliet features food vendors, carnival rides, and more. Headliners typically play around 9:30pm, but the event opens a 3pm on Friday, and noon on Saturday and Sunday.
